Hi everyone! The next few days are going to be chock-full of updates-a-go-go, as there is a lot of big stuff happening in my little world o’mine. Let’s do a quick haiku-check of what else has been going on lately:
Started her residency
It’s very rhyme-y
Baby keeps growing
Adorable li’l monkey
Big changes at work
Moving to a new building
Fresh office, whoo-hoo
Okay, that’s enough ku-ing for now, I think. As a fun sidebar for anyone who knows my younger sister and brother, feel free to ask me about the family vacation we took where we were all sooo bored and cramped in the back seat of our parents’ Saturn during another ridiculously-long multi-hour car ride that we started writing haikus about everything we saw. And I mean EVERYTHING. I still have (somehow) the papers we wrote the poems on. You haven’t read fine poetry until you read an ode to Jill’s lower lip or one of Dave’s not-so-aromatic farts.
Okay, so today I wanted to share with you the cover to my book, “The G.O.R.E. Score, Vol. 1,” which will be released for sale in just a few short weeks. The cover art and design was created by the incomparable Tom Schriner, who is not only an amazing artist, he’s also my brother-in-law. He’s the perfect package!
Pretty damn sweet, huh? Leave a comment and let me know what you think. And come back to the blog soon, within the next few days I’ll have additional posts to give you a snippet from yet another short story of mine that has seen print in an anthology released this week, and I’ll also have BIG, BIG NEWS in the form of an honest-to-goodness press release to share with you very soon! It’s a heck of a week!
